It feels like I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery my entire adult life—but if I’m honest, it truly began in my forties.
During that season, I was traveling with the Marine Corps and teaching LINKS—one of the best programs the Corps ever rolled out, completely volunteer-led. At the same time, Tim and I, along with a close group of friends, were going through a two-year leadership training program through our church.
My role with the Corps involved teaching and facilitating Marine Corps lifestyle programs for families and junior Marines, as well as the 4-Lenses workshop. Both were packed with practical tools for personal growth. And because I was constantly teaching them, those lessons stayed fresh in my mind and gradually became part of how I approached my own development.
The leadership program was a little different. Each session centered around a new theme. We’d listen to several speakers present their perspectives, and then the following month, our group would gather to reflect on how we could grow in that specific area.
One of the biggest takeaways from that season?

This week, I’ve included a PDF to support your self-discovery journey—something simple, but meaningful, to help you explore more of who you are and who you’re becoming. It's only 2-pages so you can print it and keep it handy or screen-shot it and save it to your device. As always, I am here if you have any questions or feel that it would be helpful to. have someone walk with you on your own journey of self-discovery.
Much love,
