As July arrives, you’ve made it halfway through the year. This is the perfect moment to pause, reflect, and realign. Take a breath and ask yourself: (image created so you can screenshot it as a reminder)

First, reflect on your progress so far. What goals did you set at the beginning of the year? Which have you accomplished, and which might need more focus? Are some of the goals you set no longer relative? Are there new ones? Celebrate your wins, no matter how small, and use them as fuel to keep moving.
Now, let’s shift to where your energy is needed most:
Revisit Your Priorities: Take stock of your goals. Are they still aligned with where you want to be/go? If something no longer serves you or sparks joy, it’s okay to pivot. Let go of what’s no longer relevant and refocus on what truly matters—whether that’s personal growth, career development, or strengthening relationships.
Set Clear, Actionable Goals: Be specific about what you want to achieve in the second half of the year. Break your larger goals into smaller, manageable steps. If one of your goals is career growth, set clear milestones—updating your resume, expanding your network, or taking that course you've been eyeing. If it’s self-care, commit to weekly practices that nourish your body and mind, such as daily walks, meditation, or scheduled downtime.
Intentionally Protect Your Energy: Focus on what truly deserves your time and energy. Set firm boundaries around distractions that pull you away from your goals. If you’ve felt spread thin, this is your reminder to prioritize quality over quantity—be intentional with the projects you take on, the people you invest time in, and how you spend your days.
Commit to Personal Growth: Reflect on how you’ve grown so far and where you still want to stretch yourself. Whether it’s learning a new skill, deepening your emotional well-being, or embracing new challenges, make personal growth a consistent intention. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone in pursuit of something bigger.
Reconnect with Your Why: Return to the reason behind your goals. Why did you set them in the first place? Staying connected to your deeper purpose will help fuel your motivation as you push forward.
July is the perfect midpoint reset. Use this time to reflect, refocus, and reignite your intentions. You have the power to shape the rest of this year into exactly what you need it to be. Stay focused, stay intentional, and remember—you are capable of so much more than you know.
On a side note, some of you have recently shared your growth journey as well as some set-backs with me. I am so proud of your diligence and tenacity to know your WHY and to keep moving in that direction. Each of you deserve the fulfillment of your dreams and desires. Today as I write this blog I am reminded of our conversations and text messages, our lunches and coffee dates. You hold a special place in my heart. Here's to the next 6 months...may the stars shine on your brightly.
